1. FC Heidenheim's youth fan group, the Paule Bande, enjoyed a successful outing to Ravensburger Spieleland. Around 45 children departed from the HellensteinEnergie-Osttribüne on Sunday morning and travelled by bus to the leisure park.
Autographs with Dähne
At the park, the young fans met goalkeeper Thomas Dähne at the 1. FC Heidenheim 1846 football court. The keeper signed autographs and posed for pictures. Afterwards, the children had the chance to test their football skills at the FCH Fußball Welt stations.
Parade with mascot Paule
Following a group photo, the club mascot Paule joined a mascot parade through the park. A show featuring Käpt’n Blaubär and other characters was also part of the programme. The children then had time to explore the park's other rides. The club stated the excursion was made possible by partner Ravensburger Spieleland. The return journey began in high spirits with music.
Strong Season as Backdrop
This community event runs alongside a strong season for the first team. Heidenheim currently sit third in the 2. Bundesliga with 14 points from seven matches. Under coach Frank Schmidt, the team is unbeaten in their last five league matches and has conceded only two goals during that run. Their next challenge is an away fixture against fifth-placed VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday.
