Heidenheim was hit by heavy rain, leading to multiple fire brigade operations in the south of the district. The fire brigade had to pump water out of cellars and flooded streets. In Hermaringen, emergency services had to clear two fallen trees. In Niederstotzingen, water had entered the school's roof and triggered the fire alarm. Additionally, the fire brigade had to pump water out of cellars and flooded streets at seven other locations in Niederstotzingen, or secure them. In Sontheim, the fire brigade also responded three times due to flooded streets and clogged drains. In Burgberg, a cellar was completely flooded. The northern district and the city of Heidenheim were largely spared from the storm. The operations focused clearly on the southern district, as Salwik told the HZ.
